My Entry for Amaco Staedtler Hope on a Rope Designers Challenge 2008!
I am honored to have been chosen again for top 25 in the latest Amaco Staedtler Bottles of Hope Designers Challenge! This challenge was to create necklaces with a mini decorated bottle attached. The bottles created will be gifted to children and their families at Hasbro Children's Hospital.
My Entries for Amaco's Bottles of Hope Designer's Challenge Summer 2007
I recently participated in Amaco’s Bottles of Hope designers challenge; I am very excited to say that one of my entries was chosen for the top 25.
Bottles of Hope is a movement to increase cancer awareness,in which, polymer clay artists decorate recycled medicine bottles and donate them to cancer patients and their families.
I lost my mother to breast cancer in December of 1998, she was a very young 44 years old at the time.
This challenge was for a wonderful cause, and I was truly honored to be a part of it.
I designed two bottles; one of the bottles that I created will be going directly to a patient or a family member, while
the other bottle was auctioned off on the Amaco website to benefit Gilda’s Club of Chicago.
